Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Ivan Vrabac (developer of OpenRes) ("we", "us"), who runs this game server. By creating an account, logging in or playing you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you don't accept them, don't use the game.

1. The game

We let you play this game for your own entertainment. This is a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission that we may withdraw at any time. The game, its software, its world and its content remain ours (or our licensors').

We may change, pause or permanently discontinue the game, any of its features, or any support for it, at any time and without giving reasons. We don't owe any compensation for that.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secret. One person, one company. Don't share, sell or trade accounts.

You must be at least 16 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.

3. Virtual items

Credits, resources, mines, buildings, diamonds, artifacts and every other in-game item are part of the game only. They have no real-world value, are not your property, cannot be exchanged for money and may be changed, rebalanced or removed by us at any time.

4. Fair play and behaviour

Don't cheat or abuse the game. That includes, among other things: faking your location (GPS spoofing, mock locations), bots, scripts or automation, exploiting bugs instead of reporting them, using several accounts to gain an advantage, attacking or overloading the servers, and harassing, threatening, insulting or spamming other players.

We decide ourselves what counts as abuse of the game mechanics or as bad behaviour, and we interpret these rules ourselves. We may warn, limit, suspend, reset or delete any account, and remove anything it has, at any time and without prior notice or compensation.

5. Chat

You are responsible for what you write. Be respectful: no insults, harassment, hate, sexual content, spam or advertising. A filter refuses rude messages, and repeated attempts lead to an automatic chat ban. You can block players and report messages and players in the app; moderators look at reports and may delete messages and give chat bans or bans, for some time or forever. Chat and private messages are deleted automatically after 7 days.

6. No warranty, liability

The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty that it works without interruptions, errors or data loss. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage from using or not being able to use the game, including lost progress or items. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example for intent or gross negligence), and nothing takes away rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

7. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms and the Privacy Policy at any time. The current version is always available in the game (More › Terms of use). When they change, the game shows the new version when you open it: you can accept it and keep playing, or decline it, in which case the game closes.

8. Law and courts

Croatian law applies to these terms and to everything related to the game. Any dispute is decided by the competent court in the Republic of Croatia. If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
